The class of 2013’s posters fill the wall, from bottom to top. Many students stayed after school all week to paint these posters and represent their class.

As the basketball season comes to an end, students begin to get excited about spirit week, the pep assembly and the winter fest dance. Every year students dress up all week long to show their school spirit and try to win the spirit jug. This year, the spirit days were, hat day, famous person day, ID color day, navy and white day and mismatch day.

Typically students end the week dressing up in our school colors and attend the pep assembly on Friday. This year the pep assembly was held on Thursday rather than Friday because students were putting up posters in the gym all day. The custodian had to use a lift to put posters up high on the wall and students put the posters lower on the wall by climbing the bleachers.

The posters represent the grade you are in, who you want to win winter fest or even a basketball player you favor. The class with the most posters wins points towards winning the spirit jug. As the players walk on to the court and the families and students arrive to watch the game, everyone always enjoys seeing the variety of color and school spirit represented on the posters.
