Do not let senioritis ruin your last month : Dates to remember

calenderWith the end of the school year approaching, seniors are quick to be forgetful of the many upcoming events! Below is a list of dates that may be important for seniors to remember.

Junior/Senior Prom- Saturday, May 11th.  Prom this year will be held at the Sheraton Hotel located at 3600 East Cork Street Court, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.  Tickets cost $50 dollars and can be purchased at lunch starting on Friday April 26.  Tickets can also be purchased from Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. May during passing time or at the end of the day. Students that do not attend Loy Norrix High School will have to have a guest student form filled out.  You can get this form in the office.

Cedar Point Senior Trip- Friday, May 24th. Busses will be leaving Loy Norrix parking lot at 5 a.m.  Tickets for bus, admission and food voucher are $65 dollars and can be purchased in the Athletic Office.  100 seats are available for this trip, first come first serve!

Exams for Seniors- Tuesday, May 28th – 2nd Block

Wednesday, May 29th – 1st and 3rd Block

Thursday, May 30th – 4th and 5th Block

Candlelight Ceremony- Friday, May 31st at 8:00 a.m. in Kasdorf Auditorium.  Seniors must wear their cap and gown.  A picture of all the seniors will be taken (as a group) and may be purchased.  There will be a luncheon for seniors only following the Candlelight Ceremony at approximately 11:00 a.m.
Graduation Rehearsal- Wednesday, June 5th at 8:45 a.m. in Wings Stadium.

Graduation- Wednesday, June 5th.  Arrive to Wings Stadium at 6:15 p.m. with cap and gown, the graduation ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Grad Bash- Wednesday, June 5th.  Tickets are $20 dollars and can be purchased from Grad Bash Parents who will be selling tickets at lunch in May.  Students will leave Loy Norrix on a bus at 10:00 p.m. and arrive back to Norrix on Thursday, June 6th around 6:30 a.m.
