As you inch closer and closer to the front of the line, your adrenaline begins to rush as you anticipate what the ride has in store for you. Finally, after hours of shivering in the long line, you did it, you made it to the front, and it’s your turn to buckle up and take off.
“This ride better be worth the wait,” said senior, Vanessa Armendarez as she waited in line for the Raptor for the third hour.
“I want to eat more than I want to ride this rollercoaster,” said senior, Kayla Crespi.
“There goes the floor, you’re out the door – enjoy your ride on Raptor!” said the announcers as the riders took off up the steep hill. After two minutes of twists and turns at 57 miles per hour, the riders returned safely to the gates of the Raptor.
“Even though I spent half my day in one line, it was worth it,” said Armendarez.
The class of 2013 spent their Friday at Cedar Point enjoying themselves while running from ride to ride. Although it was a tad chilly and mostly cloudy, the seniors still had smiles on their faces when loading the bus to head home.
After being on their feet for hours, indulging on the elephant ears and funnel cakes and spending quality time with their closest friends, the senior class headed home. Exhausted and cold, the senior class dozed off for the majority of the three-hour bus ride back to Loy Norrix High School.
