Senior Spring Break Fever

Seniors are closing in on graduation but are even closer to their Spring Break senior trip. Whether it’s across the country or across the world seniors are preparing themselves to take the trip of their life.

Senior Rychard Kozminske said, “I just can’t wait to travel, get out of Michigan’s weather and apply myself to all the girls I see.”

Kozminske is taking the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas cruise with three other senior friends and taking a stop in Cozumél, Mexico. On the trip Kozminke said he is most excited to be able to have some freedom in a room alone with his friends.

Mexico seems to be quite the hotspot for teenage spring breakers with the amount of parties and concerts that are held during this time of the year. Even though Mexico has been known as not the best place to travel due to the criminal activity and widely broadcasted kidnappings, major resorts in cities such as Cancun, have brought in a widespread of high school and college students.

Another Loy Norrix senior has spring break fever. Mara Timmeney also has a trip planned to go to Cozumél, Mexico, although not with Kozminske. Timmeney is going to experience scuba diving through the prettiest areas of the reef.

While these expensive trips may cost upwards of one thousand dollars it does not keep families and teens from making these travels.
