Last night the Lady Knights soccer team pulled a 3-0 win against the Battle Creek Lakeview Spartans. The first goal was scored by junior Megan Zabik and the second goal was scored by junior Kate Puca.
“I was a little nervous, then after the goal I was more confident,” said Puca who usually plays defense, but switched to midfield last night.
At the end of the first half, the score was 2-0.
The last goal was scored in the second half by junior Julie Zabik, only to be called offsides to have the goal taken away. By the end of the game Julie came back to score the third and final goal of the night.
