This past winter sports season was one to remember for a few teams. The swim team qualified seven members for state. All of these members qualified for relays. One of those relays broke the school record. Out of the seven, Brian Lindahl and Cody Gall qualified individually. Gall ended up finishing 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke.

In competitive cheer the team won the SMAC East championship for the first time in school history. Out of twelve invitational’s, the girls won seven of them. Coach Thomas has turned this program around from being at the bottom of the conference to being at the top of the division in four years.

In men’s basketball the team finished 16-7. Not only did the team have a great season, they won the SMAC East championship. Individually Bishop Robinson was nominated a unanimous First Team All State Class A member by the Associated Press.

The spring sports season has a lot to live up to. Come support these spring sport teams in the annual Super Saturday on Saturday April 21 at Loy Norrix High School.
