Lady Knights Volleyball team Prevails

For the cheering parents in the stands, it was nothing but nerve racking, excitement. Your lady knights Volleyball team pulled off a victory at the district semi-finals against the Jackson Vikings.
The Knights won the first set 25-20. Then Jackson pulled the second set 25-21. It looked to be one of the matches that went back and forth then the Knights won two in a row 25-19 and 25-20 to win the match. Qualifying for the district championship against Mason.
The 7th man was in full effect on the court as the parents and other family members of the players were chanting and were not holding back. Steve Dougherty and Rock Bartley led the charge and got the crowd going with the chants.  Every chance they got they started a “Let’s go Norrix,” chant. A new chant was brought to the attention to the crowd “Chick Chick Boom” whenever the lady knights got a kill.
The lady knights played near flawless with minimum mistakes and had great recoveries which will give them momentum as they enter the district championship game Saturday November 8th, 11:00 a.m at Holt High School. They will be competing against Mason High School for the district championship.
Coach Rachel Zeider expresses her motto to the team daily, “In order to execute you have to be effective in order to be effective you have to execute.” Zeider continued, “That’s exactly what we did perfectly today.”
