Loy Norrix Men’s Swimming and Diving had their season opener against Battle Creek Lakeview Spartans. The knights fell 117-67 in a strong first meet. Event winner included Robbie Kays in the 500 Freestyle. The knights take on the St. Joe Bears next Thursday at home. Tomorrow, your Loy Norrix CyberKnights will compete in their first state round for the Air Force Association's Cyber Patriot competition. This will determine their ability to continue on to the national semi-finals. They will be securing computers and networks in real world scenarios. The Loy Norrix Varsity Bowling team opened their season Saturday against Mattawan. The boys easily rolled into their 1st win with a 22-8 victory. Anthony Fotis led the way with games of 236, and 245. The girls team even though they were short a bowler they were able to tie the Mattawn girls 15 -15, but came away with the win with the higher baker game. Hope Dunn led the girls contributing games of 181 and 151. Our next match is next Saturday at 11:00 at Continental Lanes.
