Next week, the week of April 11, marks the start of SAT testing for the Loy Norrix 2021-22 school year.

Norrix Social Studies teacher Rebecca Layton made comprehensive graphics for each classes respective schedules.

Freshmen have the following schedule, with Xello training on the first day of testing, a college and career readiness program that allows students to “document their journey as they build self-knowledge, explore post-secondary options, create plans, and continually reassess as they take in new knowledge, skills, and experiences” according to the programs website. This training will me taking most of their time Wednesday and the PSAT 9 taking their time on Thursday.

The sophomore schedule appears as the following, essentially swapping with the freshmen schedule with the PSAT 10 taking place on Wednesday and Xello training taking place on Thursday.

Juniors, the MVPs of SAT testing, will test on Wednesday, with the ACT WorkKeys test, a compressive evaluation of workplace readiness, taking place on Thursday.

Seniors get the slice of paradise over the two days of testing with Kalamazoo Promise pathway coaching taking most of their time.

All students will have virtual schooling following their respective activities, returning to a previous era of online schooling. School returns to it’s normal schedule on Friday, April 15.
