Latinx Club will be meeting this Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in room A18. There will be a GSA meeting in room K1 after school Tuesday, Mar. 19. AAC will be open today from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the following rooms: English in B11, Math in M12W, Science in B14, Social Studies in C19 and Spanish in K12. There will be no Study Hall today. Sword and Board Club will not meet this Thursday due to Spring Break. Book Club will meet Tuesday, Mar. 19 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the library. Today is blood drive day! If you signed up for today’s blood drive, please make sure to arrive ten minutes before your scheduled donation time. Bring your school ID and to drink plenty of water. We still have a few spots open: if you are interested in signing up, check for the email that was sent out last week that gave information about the blood drive. If you ride the Duke Metro bus to or from school, please see the flyers in the office or any of the TV monitors around the school for changes in the bus route from Mar. 4 through October. Book Club will meet Tuesday, Mar. 19 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the library. The NHS blood drive is coming up. The blood drive will be held Mar. 18, from 7:45 to 1:30 a.m., in the auxiliary gym. If you are 16 or older, you can sign up between  Mar. 4 and Mar. 15 during all three lunches. You can also get information regarding height and weight requirements, as well as preparation and post-donation care during any lunch period. Donate blood and make a difference! The NHS blood drive is coming up. The blood drive will be held Mar. 18, from 7:45 to 1:30 a.m., in the auxiliary gym. If you are 16 or older, you can sign up between  Mar. 4 and Mar. 15 during all three lunches. You can also get information regarding height and weight requirements, as well as preparation and post-donation care during any lunch period. Donate blood and make a difference! The Green School club will meet today after school in room B14. This club is open to all students, whether you have previously attended or not. We would love to see some new faces and hear new ideas. Or will Luffy punch his way to the top? Fill out your bracket this week and return it to the Library by Thursday, March 7. Then vote for your favorite characters each week throughout March. Heaven Cole made it to the Championship match, before losing to earn 2nd place. Congratulations to the Loy Norrix HS Band, which this Saturday earned Straight Division 1 "Superior" Ratings at the Michigan School Band & Orchestra Association District Festival.  All 4 adjudicators  evaluated the LN Band at the highest level, and also awarded the band with 'all A's" in each sub-category.  This is the 3rd year in a row the Band has earned "Straight 1s" at Festival, and the 5th year in a row over an overall 1st Division 'Superior' rating.  Congratulations band members!
