There will be no AAC this week. AAC will start back up Dec 7th. New fliers will be distributed to teachers later this week with updated information. To all juniors and seniors, if you have an interest in joining our school's National Honor Society and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, an email was sent to your KPS account which talks about the application process. The due date for all applications is today, Monday, by 8:00 PM. If you have any questions, see Mr. Allen (in room A19) or Mr. Porco (in room D4). Dance, Dance, Dance - Want to do the Cha Cha Slide? We will be featuring lots of group dances during the Winter Formal "Knights under the Stars". Remember to bring $20 cash and get your ticket during all 3 lunches or in A-12 before and after school this week. Semi Formal means get dressed up. There will be cookies! Attention seniors! Senior photos and quotes are due to the yearbook by December 1st! Photos and quotes must be submitted via the Google Form that was sent to your KPS email. All requirements are included in the email. Today is the last day of tryouts for the Varsity Bowling team. If you are interested in bowling come out and sign up. We have room for boys and girls, but we are definitely short of girls to fill the team. Even if you still need your physical, come out and sign up. Revel n Roll West, 4500 Stadium Dr. AAC will meet after school today, Please check with your teachers or stop by C16 for more information. Baseball will have conditioning today from 3:30-5 in the weight room. You must go home after school and return or attend AAC. You cannot just hangout in the building. See Coach Rickli in the CWing with any questions. There will be No Greenschool meeting today on account of finals. The next meeting will be Thursday, December 2nd. Thank you to everyone who auditioned for "Something Rotten." The cast list will be posted at 2:20 today. You can find it on the Loy Norrix Performing Arts Facebook and Instagram pages, or outside Mr. Lafferty's room J11. If you are on the cast list, the first rehearsal will be this coming Monday the 15th from 2:45-5:45. Check your email for further details regarding the rehearsal schedule. Today is Veterans Day, which is a day we honor and thank those who have served our country in the military. We especially want to honor and thank those members of our Loy Norrix community who are veterans. Please take time today to thank the following individuals for their military service: Mr. Kitzman (Air Force), Mrs. Frazier (Army), Mr. Wright (Army National Guard), Mr. Sallis (Air Force), Mr. Bumstead (Army), Ms. Baber, and School Resource Officer Epps (National Guard). Students must have your planeths.com accounts either created or updated fully before being allowed to participate. Instruction sheets are available in the Athletic Office if you need one. Don’t be left sitting out, get your account up to date today! In addition, you must leave the building and return at your practice time. Make a plan now to leave and return. Think ahead as you will need a plan not only for the first week but the entire season!
