It’s the third trimester of the school year, the prime time for senioritis, and Loy Norrix seniors are coming down with the symptoms. Procrastination, laziness, lack of motivation, etc. have made their way into the mindsets of the class of 2014. However, many seniors have their methods of combating the dreaded disease.
How do you deal with senioritis?
“I keep myself busy.” -LiMin Artz-Iffland
“I think of graduation.” -Hayley Zabik
“I complain about what I have to do and procrastinate for hours and hours. Then I realize I still have to do it and do quality work for 10 minutes.” -Ian Stoops
“Take a lot of naps.” -Wyatt Featherstone
“I prioritize, but with discretion. Putting school first all the time makes me feel like my soul is dying.” -Grace Santamaria
“Eat a big breakfast.” -Joe Boggan
“I think of sports to motivate myself.” -Iyana Smith
“I take long showers.” -Peter Kettner
“I make a list of things I need to do every night and strive to complete them.” -Claire Mears
“I just let it happen.” -Amanda McGrail
“I can’t remember the last time I sat down and did homework.” -Skylar Lewis
As you can see, some have already succumbed to the sickness, but there are only 10 more weeks until graduation, seniors! Hang in there!
