Loy Norrix Men’s Swimming and Diving had their season opener against Battle Creek Lakeview Spartans. The knights fell 117-67 in a strong first meet. Event winner included Robbie Kays in the 500 Freestyle. The knights take on the St. Joe Bears next Thursday at home. Everyone come out and show there supports as the Knights look to defend the castle.
Tomorrow, your Loy Norrix CyberKnights will compete in their first state round for the Air Force Association’s Cyber Patriot competition. This will determine their ability to continue on to the national semi-finals. They will be securing computers and networks in real world scenarios. While the teams have been doing great, each round has progressively gotten more challenging for our new cybersecurity club.
Please wish your CyberKnights luck in their upcoming competition. They should be wearing their Cyber Patriot 14 shirts today. If you are interested in the world of cybersecurity, additional competitions and challenges will begin after the new year. Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in room M1.
