The Knights Health Center is offering free sports physicals. Please note that your parent or guardian will need to complete the Knights Health Center consent form, AND they will need to complete the Michigan High School Athletic Association form for you to participate in high school sports. Your parent or guardian will need to complete and sign the forms in all of the designated areas that say parent/guardian signature. For the consent form and sports physical form, please come by the Knights Health Center or go to the Athletics Department office.
If you are interested in playing men’s volleyball in the spring, there is a signup sheet in the athletic office.
We are down to our last few Metro Bus Passes for the school year! If you’re in need of a metro bus pass Stop by the C-wing office to see coach Kyle for a bus pass application!
Loy Norrix Class of 2026 is putting on “A Knight Under the Stars” Winter Formal on Saturday, December 14th from 8:00 -11:00 pm. Tickets will be sold during all 3 lunches and before and after school in room A20 starting this Wednesday for $20.
Check-in with the Upward Bound representative on Wednesdays during lunchtime to learn about upcoming events and opportunities, update your contact info or check on the status of a submitted application.
Beginning Monday December 2nd, bus 105 will be bus 82, bus 2 will be 99, bus 87 will be 95, bus 77 will be 66, bus 108 will be 116, and bus 35 will be 108.
Tickets are being sold for the girls and boys basketball games that will be played at Little Caesar’s Arena with a Pistons vs Golden State Warriors game to follow. Tickets are $95 and include transportation, a sack lunch, entrance to the games and all you can eat during the Pistons game. Tickets can be purchased in the athletic office.
The Loy Norrix Forensics team has finished 6th in the state of Michigan for two years in a row, and we need YOU to make it THREE years in a row! If you are interested at all, there is an informational meeting after school on Tuesday the 10th in the Choir room J12 from 2:30 to 3:30. See Mr Lafferty with any questions!
There will be a meeting for Youth in Government on Tuesday, December 10, after school in Mrs. Johnson’s room, which is D18.
Attention all 10th graders, today Friday the 6th starts the first day for attendance rewards. Want to spend your attendance points? Rewards will be sold at all three lunches.
Bring four cans and your student ID to the basketball game at Kalamazoo Central on December 12th at 7 p.m. to get in for FREE! All cans brought will be collected and counted to see which student section has the most BY HALFTIME! The winner gets pizza and breadsticks! All the cans will be donated to KC’s food drive!!
