The Loy Norrix Forensics team has finished 6th in the state of Michigan for two years in a row, and we need YOU! Auditions are after school on Tuesday the 17th in the Choir room J12 from 2:30 to 4:00. Everyone is welcome to audition for the team. Not sure if forensics is right for you? Don’t worry! We’ll help find the event that is perfect for your talents! See Mr. Lafferty for an audition packet or to ask any questions!

 

If you are interested in playing men’s volleyball in the spring, there is a signup sheet in the athletic office. All skill levels are welcome to check it out. Off season weightlifting for Mens and Womens Volleyball is beginning, we will be in the weight room every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30. 

 

Check-in with the Upward Bound representative on Wednesdays during lunchtime to learn about upcoming events and opportunities, update your contact info or check on the status of a submitted application.

 

Tickets are being sold for the girls and boys basketball games that will be played at Little Caesar’s Arena with a Pistons vs Golden State Warriors game to follow.  Tickets are $95 and include transportation, a sack lunch, entrance to the games and all you can eat during the Pistons game. Tickets can be purchased in the athletic office. 

 

Come support your cheer team at their first SMAC competition TODAY, Monday 12/16, In the main gym at 6pm. 

 

There will be a meeting for Youth in Government tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, after school, in Mrs. Johnson’s room, which is D18. If you are in Youth in Government, plan to attend the meeting tomorrow in Room D18.


Come Support THIS THURSDAY as the Men’s Swim and Dive team takes on the Lakeview Spartans in a historic matchup!


The Loy Norrix bowling team continued it’s season Saturday against Paw Paw. For the 2nd week in a row the boys only surrendered 1 point. The girls team started their win streak by only giving up 6 points. A very decisive victory for both teams.


AAC will be open today for tutoring from 2:30-3:30 in the following rooms; Social Studies in A19, Math in C16, English in A16, Science in C19, Spanish in A18, and Study Hall in D12.

 

Sword and Board will meet this Thursday from 230-330 in room C16. Pokemon players have officially been moved to Ms Pike’s room in B20.

 

Chess Club is Wednesday during all three lunches in Room D10.
