Effective with the start of the second trimester, Loy Norrix will be starting enhanced enforcement of the ban of hats and hoods. Please adhere to this expectation daily.

Books are now available for the Loy Norrix Book Club. Please see Ms. Coash in the library if you would like to join.

Today is the first day of AAC for trimester 2. AAC will be available in the following rooms from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for tutoring: English in B11, math in M12W, science in B14, social studies in C19, Spanish in K12, testing in A19, and study hall in the library.

The Sword and Board club will meet this Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in room C16. All tabletop gamers and games are invited to join.

Don’t worry if you missed “Oklahoma!” this weekend: the student musical will be playing for three more nights this week! Performances are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m in the Loy Norrix auditorium. Thursday night is student night, which means all students can see the show for the discounted price of 5 dollars.

The deadline to submit senior photos and quotes to the 2024 Accolade Yearbook has been extended to December 31. This is the final deadline. Submit using the Google Form in your email. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

There will be a student-parent meeting for all interested in playing for the women’s soccer team this spring. It will be this Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

There will be a Youth in Government meeting this Tuesday, Dec. 5 after school in Mrs. Johnson’s room, D18.

Fall athletes who earned a 3.5 GPA or higher will receive an email inviting them to be honored at halftime during Tuesday’s girls varsity basketball game. We look forward to seeing you there.
