Saturday our bowling team took on Plainwell. Both the boys and girls teams were able to walk away with the victory. The boys handled them quite easily, losing only 1 individual point. The girls worked a little harder for their win, losing one of their team points by only 5 pins. Last Sunday we played in the Huskie Invitational. The boys finished 2nd out of 12 schools. Senior, Dylan Ashbaugh finished 9th for individual match play. This weekend we played in the Three Rivers Invitational. And again, the boys team finished 2nd. Senior, Devin Harris qualified 1st for individual match play. On the girl’s side, Junior, Zoe Wazny finished 12th. All in all, a very good showing by all our bowlers 2 weekends in a row.

Vaping may seem harmless to some, but research shows it can have serious long-term effects on your brain. Nicotine and other harmful chemicals in e-cigarettes can affect brain development, especially in young people whose brains are still growing. These substances can lead to problems with memory, attention, and learning—things that are essential for your success in school and life. More than just brain health, vaping is linked to increased risks for lung damage and other serious health issues. Your body is your most important asset, and it’s vital to take care of it, especially as you grow and develop. So, remember: keep your brain and body healthy. Say no to vaping, and encourage your friends to do the same. Stay focused, stay strong, and make choices that will help you succeed today and in the future.
