Attention students: Today, March 2, there will be a Voter Registration and State ID Session for Students who are 17 and 1/2 years old or older in M12-East/Mrs. Jensen’s room Students who attend this session will learn how to get a state identification card and register to vote.
Students this is your last opportunity to participate in an APeek day for this school year. If you want to sit in on an advanced placement class on Tuesday, March 3 come to the counseling office today to sign up.
Attention Tea Club members: Our next meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3 in Ms. Stetten’s class from 2:30 – 3:30 pm.
There will be a meeting for any student interested in trying out for the baseball team Tuesday at 7:10 am in the library.
Ms. Learner will be running after school GRAD Point on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:30 – 4:30 pm in K5W. GRAD Point WILL NOT be held on Thursday this week.
Attention students: If you are applying to Early Middle College all applications are due by Friday, March 6 in the counseling office.
Do you need community service? This Saturday there are two opportunities to earn service hours. Look outside Mrs. May’s door by the C-wing computer lab for working at the Kalamazoo Nature Center for Maple Sugaring in the morning and dressing like a career choice to share with children at the KPS 1st Sat Literacy Day in the afternoon.
Attention all students: Make sure you have reviewed your trimester three schedule. The last day that counselors will be taking schedule change request is Monday, March 9th. Don’t wait until the start of the new trimester if you need changes.
Softball tryouts begin next Monday, from 2:45-5pm. We will meet outside the girls locker room. You must have a physical on file and insurance paid in the athletic office to try out. See coach Johnson in C12 if you have questions
Attention all students. The PBIS team will soon be hosting the 2nd Academic Celebration of the year. This celebration is to recognize student achievement from the 2nd trimester. In order to attend, you must meet the following qualifications from 2nd trimester; no referrals and one of the following – 3.5 GPA, Perfect attendance, or .5 increase in GPA from 1st to 2nd trimester. Make sure you are working hard and doing everything you can to finish up strong this trimester. Start studying now for your exams and make sure you have turned in all of your work.
