If you purchased school pictures and have not received them, there are a lot of them in the Athletic Office. The photos were not properly tagged so we need you to come and pick them up.

Juniors and Seniors! Have you started your college search yet? Want to do one stop shopping and get information from over 60 colleges and universities in Michigan. KVCC is hosting College Night tonight, October 18th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on their campus. Make sure you check it out!

It’s the great pumpkin painting party, Loy Norrix! Tuesday, October 19th from 2:30-3:30, Loy Norrix will have its 31st annual Pumpkin Painting Party. Come to the cafeteria and paint a pumpkin! All pumpkins will be delivered to community agencies. Students and staff are all welcome to attend!

Are you interested in becoming a leader in the school and learning more about careers in education? Do you like helping other students learn? Well then the YES club is for you. Come to the first meeting, Wednesday Oct. 20th from 2:30 to 3:30 in room D-4.

Are you interested in buying fresh local produce? The Green school club has organic vegetables for sale through Kalamazoo nature center’s Delano Farms. Proceeds benefit the club and nature center! The Young Democrats Club will have their first meeting at 2:30pm, next Tuesday, the 26th of October. We will be meeting in Room C13. Join us for political discussions and chances for involvement in local politics! Again, Tuesday October 26th at 2:30pm in C13.

Live Theater is BACK! The spotlights! The singing! The dancing! The applause! It’s back and we need YOU. Loy Norrix Performing Arts proudly presents the Southwest Michigan premier of the new musical “Something Rotten!” We are looking for students of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and personalities to be a part of this hilarious and touching show. Auditions will be after school on November 9th and 11th. On November 4th there will be a workshop to help learn audition songs and dances. See Mr. Lafferty in J11 to ask questions or to pick up audition forms and crew applications.
