The deadline to submit senior photos and quotes to the 2024 Accolade Yearbook has been extended to December 31. This is the final deadline. Submit using the Google Form in your email. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
AAC will be open today from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for tutoring in the following rooms: math in K4, science in C17, social studies in K13, ESL support in K5W, Spanish in A18, SAT math prep in B13 and study hall in D12.

Friday, December 22, 2023 is alumni Day at Loy Norrix High School.
Friday, Dec. 23 is Alumni Day! Loy Norrix graduates will be in the building from 12:30 to 2:20 p.m. to meet with staff and students to discuss the transition from high school and share various college and/or military experiences.
The Travel Club is changing its destination: in July 2024, we will be traveling to the Galapagos islands and Ecuador. If you love animals, biology, beaches, snorkeling and a great adventure, be sure to email Ms. Learner in the counseling office and she will get an enrollment packet to you. There is a discount and scholarship available for this trip. Students also can earn three free college credits if they enroll before the end of 2023.
The Knights wrestled hard last night, battling Gull Lake to a 21-58 loss, and coming back to beat Battle Creek Lakeview 48-33. Dennis Allen-Womack, Darik Smith, Wyatt Buddemeier and Jack Nicolai were all undefeated throughout the night.
Do you have a pet cat at home? Could your cat use a little enrichment? Ms. Ward’s Career and Life Readiness class will be selling homemade cat toys with catnip during 2nd and 3rd lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the lunchroom until winter break. Staff, if you want to purchase a cat toy but are unable to make it to the lunchroom during lunch, please send Ms. Ward an email, and she will send students to you. Cat toys are $2 each.
Did you get cut from a winter sport? Grades not good enough to do a school sport? Looking for a way to get or stay fit over the winter before spring comes? Come to indoor track practice. This is a running club that helps people be fit and healthy. We don’t just run: we throw, lift, jump, and do many things that make you more flexible, stronger, faster and leaner. We meet at the 4-corners on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. Distance conditioning is also held from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. There is also an added bonus of competitions later if you are interested.
