Current Sophomores and Juniors, are you interested in being on the Loy Norrix Announcements Team for the 2022-2023 school year? Then come to the Announcements Team Auditions, May 11, afterschool in the library. We are looking for energetic individuals with a knack for public speaking and teamwork. Sign-up will be before auditions. If you have any questions feel free to contact any of the members of the announcements team.
Attention Students: Stay after school to get help with Math and Science classes. 2:30 to 3:30 in Room B11 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Go see Ms Naz, CIS Success Coach in the BWing to sign up. Snacks and bus tokens available.

The Loy Norrix Young Democrats are focused on amplifying youth voices and putting them into action. Come to C-13 after school today if you’d like to be involved. P.S. we also have free snacks!
Female athletes: Sports bras are available in D-4 (located downstairs in the D wing). You can stop in during your lunch to pick one up.
Seniors – it’s time to get your ticket to this year’s Grad Bash, which is an all night post graduation party, with lots of fun for everyone! Tickets are only $30 and can be bought on the KPS website. We hope to see all graduating Seniors

We want you to apply for next year’s Link Crew! Link Crew is our freshman transition program, where we come together as a team to support next year’s freshmen as they transition successfully to high school. Link Crew is all about learning new leadership skills, helping others, and having a lot of fun.
If you are interested in learning more, there will be informational meetings on Tuesday April 19th and Tuesday April 26th at 2:30pm in the Library.
Applications will be available Starting Wednesday April 20th in the main office, the Library, and from any one of the Link Crew Coordinators: Mrs. Simpson, Mr. Haeussler, or Mr. Hernandez

Congratulations to Gavin Moan, Spencer Jones and Jessica DeRyke seniors who had artwork selected by Rep. Julie Rogers. The collage portraits were displayed in her office in Lansing. Those students should report to Ms. Van Lieu to retrieve your art and your award certificate.
