If you are interested in playing men’s volleyball in the spring, there is a signup sheet in the athletic office. All skill levels are welcome to check it out. Off season weightlifting for Mens and Womens Volleyball is beginning, we will be in the weight room every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30. Reach out to Coach mac if you have any questions, see you there!

 

Check-in with the Upward Bound representative on Wednesdays during lunchtime to learn about upcoming events and opportunities, update your contact info or check on the status of a submitted application.

 

Tickets are being sold for the girls and boys basketball games that will be played at Little Caesar’s Arena with a Pistons vs Golden State Warriors game to follow.  Tickets are $95 and include transportation, a sack lunch, entrance to the games and all you can eat during the Pistons game. Tickets can be purchased in the athletic office. 

 

The Loy Norrix Forensics team has finished 6th in the state of Michigan for two years in a row, and we need YOU to make it THREE years in a row! If you are interested at all, there is an informational meeting after school on Tuesday the 10th in the Choir room J12 from 2:30 to 3:30. See Mr Lafferty with any questions!

 

Want to beat KC at more than just basketball? Bring four cans and your student ID to the basketball game at Kalamazoo Central on December 12th at 7 p.m. to get in for FREE! 

 

Sword and Board will meet Thursday in room C16 from 2:30-3:30. All tabletop gamers and games are invited to join.

 

The GSA will be meeting TODAY from 2:30-3:30 in Mr. Ezekiel’s room M12E. For more information talk to either Mr. Ezekiel or Ms. Pike (B20). Hope to see you there!

 

Join us this Saturday for the Winter Formal dance, a night filled with music, magic, and memories. Tickets are $20 and are being sold at all three lunches, the main office and in room A20. Tickets will be available at the door the day of the dance but the prices will go up to $25.

 

Did you see Urinetown this past weekend? If you missed it, you’re in luck! There are 3 more shows! Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00. All students can get in to see the show this Thursday or Friday for the discounted price of FIVE DOLLARS. 

 

Today after school, there will be a meeting for Youth in Government in Mrs. Johnson’s room, which is D18. If you are in Youth in Government, plan to attend our meeting today in D18.

 

AAC will be open today for tutoring from 2:30-3:30 in the following rooms; Social Studies in K13, Math in C16, English in A16, Science in C10, ESL Support in K5W, Spanish in A18, Courseware in K10, and Study Hall in A19. The testing room will also be available in the AWing offices. Please have your teacher contact Mrs Hensen for the testing room.
