Out of the 37 runners, 30 had their best time of the season or best time ever. Nearly everyone competed well and improved their position throughout the race. Individually, there were some amazing times. Sofia and Danny were only five seconds away from All-Conference Honors with personal best times. Jackson and Dylan were 7th and 8th respectively, and earned honors with personal best times as well. This was the fastest men’s team in over 20 years with eight of our runners finishing in under 17:40 in the 5k. They will race again Friday in the regional meet at Portage West for a chance to run in the state meet.
