After school gradpoint will be cancelled this week. Ms. Learner will post the February schedule on the K5W door.

There will be no Chess Club due to professional development.

There will be no AAC today. AAC will be open tomorrow, Thursday.

Our totals for Serious Fun continue to grow to help seriously and terminally ill children. We have 5 more donation pickups left. We have collected $338.29 so far, last year we donated $2,400. The top 2 classrooms will have a pizza lunch.

Attention Peacejammers: If you are going to the Homeless Valentine Dinner today at the 1st Presbyterian Church – we will meet at 4:45 pm in the basement on the Lovell Street side. Remember to bring a bag of chips or a dessert and wear your Peacejam shirt.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? It should be YOU! Come watch the Michigan premiere of the production, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” and see your incredible classmates tell a story focused on race, family and love. There are shows on Thursday, February 13, Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, February 16 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are only $7 with Saturday being discounted for only $5 with your student ID! Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Please see Mrs. Carrow in J11 if you have any questions.

Juniors – are you interested in dual enrollment for next year. Not sure of your next steps or how to sign up. Please come to our dual enrollment information session Friday, February 14 during 2nd period in the cafeteria. Sign up in the counseling office today!

Attention all of you love birds out there. Why give flowers for Valentine’s Day when they can die. Instead, give the gift that lasts forever! DNA!!! Loy Norrix Key Club is hosting a Valentine’s Party on Thursday, February 13 immediately after school in room K10. For $5 you will reserve your spot at the party, receive sweet treats, make a DNA necklace, Make Valentine cards, and listen to music. Space is limited, so sign up soon with Ms. Nelson for the party of the year!

Valentine’s Day is almost here! Are you looking for a fun, thoughtful, and unique way to show someone you care? Then let the Loy Norrix Choir take care of that for you. We’ll sweetly serenade your special someone and your friends with a Singing Valentine during classes on February 14. Singing Valentines cost just $3 for a song and a Hershey’s kiss, or $5 for a song and a full-size chocolate bar, and they can be purchased during all three lunches. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and if you have that one special person and want to let them know how special they are to you, then Green school has got you covered. You can stop by the table during your lunch and buy a flower, candy and add an anonymous note for as little as $2 for a flower or $3 for a flower, candy and a card.

Attention graduating Seniors! If you have an interest in speaking at your commencement ceremony, you need to sign up in room B18 by Thursday, February 27.
