March is Women’s History Month. Third period classes will be competing in a door decorating contest to show off important women and information. Doors need to be done end of the day on March 4th and the winning class will get a celebratory breakfast on the day of your final.

Attention next year Juniors and Seniors. A new advanced Geology class will be offered next year here at Loy Norrix. It is a two trimester class covering many exciting topics in the Geosciences. Upon completion you will have an opportunity to test for 4 college credits. Why take Geology?
Geology is a highly visual, hands-on science that studies real-world problems.
Starting salaries of geosciences are on par with chemists and exceed biologists.
60,000 geoscientists will be needed for the national workforce by 2030
