Our golf team was 2nd place out of 12 Teams! Two players received medals for being in the Top 10! Isaac Scavarda and Xander Gorham!
Attention Seniors: Grad Bash ticket sales end soon! Buy your ticket online, at the office, in the cafeteria on Wednesday or at the awards ceremony on Friday. Tickets will not be sold at the door on the day of the event; advanced purchase is required in order to attend. The winners of last week’s Grad Bash gift card drawing are Kamiyah Betts and Albert Godayol-Carceller. Kamiyah & Albert, please pick up your prizes from Ms. Reimink in the office. More prize winners will be announced at Grad Bash!
There will be the second to last Chess Club today during all lunch shifts in computer lab D-10. If you would like to attend, please pick up a purple lunch pass and bring your lunch. Anybody with a pass may attend, and anyone who beats Mr. Bellware wins a custom-made chess board.
Sword and Board will meet today from 230-330 in room C16. All tabletop gamers and games are invited.
There will be a Green School meeting Thursday in room B14. All are welcome, see you there!
If you’re in AP Art for the 2023/24 school year stop by A-12 and see Mr. Stevens for the summer assignment. Summer assignments are a requirement and must be picked up by all AP Art students to remain enrolled in the class. If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mr. Stevens.
Men’s basketball will be having open gyms every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:30. Please spread the word! We will be providing information about summer workouts and team camps. If you have any questions please see Coach Moore or Coach Gardner.
If you are signed up to take AP US History next year, the summer assignment is available for pickup in Mr. Porco’s room (D9). All APUSH students need to get this before the end of the school year.
Are you interested in playing football in the fall? There will be Football weightlifting this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday right after school in the weight room until 3:30. See Coach Kyle in the J-wing for more information!
Good Morning Loy Norrix Knights! Do you have clothes that you are no longer wearing or wanting? Do you enjoy thrifting and the art of upcycling? If so, please join your peers at the Ardea Spring thrifting event! Ardea is a Youth Climate Coalition composed of local youth in Kalamazoo, most of which being Loy Norrix Knights! If you have any clothes please bring them to the drop off box located in the Library. The last day to bring in clothes will be Thursday, May 25th. The spring event is taking place at Kalamazoo Nature Center on May 27th at 3-8 PM. Please come to shop, listen to a live band and get free food!
