Are you a hidden Pokemon master? Come prove it today as the esports team presents their first Pokemon Battle Day event in Mr. Wood’s room, C19. Keep an eye out around the school for fliers with QR codes for the signup form and a Google Classroom containing information on rules and future events, or join using classroom code u3wziea. Teachers are also welcome to participate. Any other questions can be sent to Mr. Wood.

Looking for a new winter wardrobe? Green School is hosting a clothing swap tomorrow, Nov. 30 in the cafeteria from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Please bring any clothing you would like to swap, excluding undergarments and socks, to room B14 in the weeks prior to the event. There will be a $3 entry fee and each person can take as many articles of clothing as they wish.

Are you looking for a challenge to stretch yourself physically and mentally? Join the Loy Norrix Rock Climbing club. There will be an informational meeting Nov. 29 after school in Mr. Labadie’s room, M13. Look for the blue posters around school with the Google Classroom code so you get the latest information. If you have any questions, talk to Mr. Labadie.

Effective with the start of the second trimester, Loy Norrix will be starting enhanced enforcement of the ban of hats and hoods. Please adhere to this expectation daily.

Books are now available for the Loy Norrix Book Club. Please see Ms. Coash in the library if you would like to join.

There will be no AAC this week while we set up this trimester’s schedule.

The Sword and Board club will meet this Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 in room C16. All tabletop gamers and games are invited to join.

The Loy Norrix Musical “Oklahoma!” opens this Friday night! Don’t miss your fellow students as they sing and dance their way through this classic show. Two fiery love triangles set against the backdrop of survival in the old west – what could be more exciting? This weekend’s shows are at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $8 for students and $12 for adults. 

The deadline to turn in applications to the National Honor Society has been extended to this Friday. Applications may be turned in to Mr. Allen or Mr. Porco.

The application deadline for the Heyl Scholarship for STEM at Kalamazoo College and medicine at Western Michigan University is Friday, Dec. 1. Please email or see Ms. Nelson in room D13 if you have any questions.

The deadline to submit senior photos and quotes to the 2024 Accolade Yearbook has been extended to December 31. This is the final deadline. Submit using the Google Form in your email. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
