Publication Policy

We accept guest writers!

Knight Life has the right to withhold any submission that doesn’t follow the publication policy.

Letters to the Editor, Commenting and Guest Writer Guidelines

• No defamatory statements
• No obscenities/fighting words
• No expressions to incite lawless action
• No copyright violations/plagiarism
• Nothing that substantially disrupts the school environment
• Submissions must contain author’s name and contact information

Knight Life also reserves the right to edit submissions for formatting, grammar and punctuation. 

Being school-sponsored, this publication is subject to prior review by Kalamazoo Public Schools, according to the KPS Board of Education policy.

Any photography that has been manipulated will be labeled a photo illustration. 

Knight Life will publish a formal correction of any factual error made.
