Kamala Harris holds rally in Grand Rapids to garner votes in swing state

Warmly greeted by supporters, Vice President Kamala Harris walks out to the podium at her rally in Grand Rapids. Harris encouraged voters to vote early, emphazizing the imporance of swing states such as Michigan.

Sophomore Nariah Whitmore texts on her phone before class starts. Behind her is a diagram posted up on the wall of two machine guns. “The posters are there because I teach American Military History, and I refer to those posters from time-to-time during classroom discussions, as they depict military significant firearms carried by U.S. forces or our enemies,” social studies teacher Michael Wright said.
