For the past year, Norrix has been well-known for comedic ability when it comes to theater.  So, for this year’s fall play, we’ll stick to making our audiences laugh.
The choice of show; “Noises Off,” a British comedy about, well, another show!
“Noises Off” is considered a farce, which is high energy comedy which includes, but is not limited to, hundreds of props, outrageous physicality, and lots of comedic timing. It is a three act show, with each act portraying and addressing a different stage (no pun intended) in the production process of the show within the show, “Nothing On.”
For those interested in auditioning, there is a workshop on October 1st where you can meet the director, find out more about the show, and even receive an audition packet with character information, a piece of the script, and tips for auditioning. The auditions are on October 2nd from 4 pm to 6 pm. Callbacks are the following day, October 3 from 2:30 to 4:30. Rehearsals run from October 7th to December 10th, and the show opens on December 11th and runs through the 13th.
