March is Women’s History Month. Third period classes will be competing in a door decorating contest to show off important women and information. Doors need to be done end of today, March 4th and the winning class will get a celebratory breakfast on the day of your final.

Attention Key Club International members. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 8th in Ms. Nelson’s room D13. See you there!

Travel Club 2023 is going to Spain and Portugal. Time to use those language skills and sign up. Scholarships and discounted fees are available now. See Mrs. Lewis C-15 or Mrs. Holmes A-15 for enrollment packets.

Attention Loy Norrix students interested in spring sports: You will need to make sure to have a physical on file in the athletic office, also you will need to pay the insurance fee if you did not play a sport yet this year. Online registration needs to be completed by going to lnknights.com and clicking on the link in the upper-right corner.

Loy Norrix is looking for athletes for the track teams this year. Anyone not already doing a spring sport is encouraged to come out for track. We will have non-mandatory practices and conditioning all week. Official practice starts March 14th after school at the start of the new trimester. We are looking for sprinters, people who can throw, and people who can jump. No experience is necessary. Come join a winning tradition. People who are looking to condition for fall or winter sports like football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, or swim are encouraged to come out.

Calling all actors! Loy Norrix Performing Arts is gearing up for our spring play, and we need you! The classic murder mystery “And Then There Were None” has eleven roles to be filled by students of all genders, ages, and ethnicities. Auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, March 15 in room J11. See Mr. Lafferty in J11 to pick up an audition form or to ask any questions.

The Men’s Basketball District will begin with a 5:00 P.M. game on Monday, March 7 with a game against Gull Lake. The game will be played at Coldwater High School.
