Our Black History Month Person of the day is Ida B. Wells. Ida B. Wells was an American investigative journalist, educator, and early leader in the civil rights movement. She was one of the founders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She also led an anti-lynching crusade in the United States in the 1890s. She also fought for woman suffrage.
