AAC will be closed today due to a staff meeting. AAC will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please check with your teachers or stop by room C16 for more information.

Auditions for the Loy Norrix musical “Something Rotten” are tomorrow, Tuesday, November 9th! EVERYONE is welcome to attend these auditions! We need students of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and personalities to help make this show great! Even if you’ve never been on stage before, now is your chance to give it a try! Auditions will be held from 2:45 to 5:45 in the Choir Room J12. Please see Mr. Lafferty in J11 if you have any questions or would like an audition packet.

Attention Loy Norrix Knights: Are you looking for a club that encourages leadership, community service, AND looks great on resumes and college applications? Look no further. Key Club International is the club for you. The Key Club International membership drive is taking place now. Membership dues are $15 and are due by November 9th. Please see Ms. Nelson in room D13 or a fellow Key Club member for more information.

Attention Loy Norrix students! Are you interested in discussing topics like social justice, individual rights and preserving democracy? The Young Democrats meet on Tuesdays at 2:30pm in Room C13. Join us for political discussions and chances for involvement in local politics!

Loy Norrix Jazz Band is accepting new members! If you can read music, are interested in learning how to improvise and perform Jazz, Rock, or Latin music, join our band! We rehearse every Tuesday right after school. If interested, please contact Mr. Shebukhov or stop by the band room number J10 on Tuesday after school.

The YES Club will be meeting Wednesday after school in Room D-4 until 3:00. If you think you might be interested in becoming a teacher please join us. We will have snacks and plan our future activities.

The next two Winter Sports that start this week are Competitive Cheer and Women’s Basketball. Cheer tryouts are today, Monday November 8, Tuesday November 9, and Wednesday, November 10 from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Women’s Basketball will be today, November 8th from 5:00-7:30 and then Tuesday November 9 through Friday November 12 from 5:00-7:00.

Students must have your planeths.com accounts either created or updated fully before being allowed to participate. Instruction sheets are available in the Athletic Office if you need one. Don’t be left sitting out, get your account up to date today!

In addition, you must leave the building and return at your practice time. Make a plan now to leave and return. Think ahead as you will need a plan not only for the first week but the entire season!
