This past Saturday the Loy Norrix Marching Band traveled up to the Grand Rapids area to perform at the East Kentwood Marching Band Competition. Your Marching Knights had a fantastic performance, out of numerous bands placed 4th, their highest placement yet at this prestigious show. Your LN Band also beat out cross town rival Kalamazoo Central, for the second time this year! It was a great way to end a successful and historic Marching Band season for the LN Marching Knights!

Over the weekend, your Cyber-Knights competed in the first round of the Air Force Association’s Cyberpatriot competition. They went up against teams with over 5 years of experience. While they themselves have had less than 2 months of training. They still managed to find over 75% of scored vulnerabilities placing them in the top 46th percentile in Michigan and top 43rd percentile in the world. They will continue to hone their cybersecurity skills before the next round in November. If you would like to know more about how to protect yourselves and others from would-be hackers, please join us in room M1 Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
