Sword and Board will meet today

The Yearbook Signing Party is today, Thursday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m.! You must have purchased a yearbook in advance to attend. There are only a few dozen left, and online ordering is closed. Visit K3 with $65 cash or check to buy a yearbook before the party. Those who bought a yearbook are welcome to come down to the cafeteria at 2 pm on Thursday to pick up your book! Look for your pass from your third hour teacher on Thursday.

Hey seniors! Your library books are due by this Friday, May 13! If you’re a senior and think you owe a library book, email Kreider or stop by the library.

AAC will be available today. Please check with your teachers for the room schedule. AAC will not open Wednesday due to staff meetings

Attention students: Send your favorite seniors “A Kiss Goodbye” through Friday, May 13th you will have the opportunity to purchase a Hershey kiss and note to send to your favorite seniors. The cost is only $1.00 per note/Hershey kiss and will be delivered the last week seniors are here. Please see your LN Key Club member during each lunch for purchase.

Seniors – it’s time to get your ticket to this year’s Grad Bash, which is an all night post graduation party, with lots of fun for everyone! Tickets are only $30 and will be sold during lunch today and tomorrow, tickets can be bought on the KPS website also.

The EFA Spring Dance Concert will be in Kasdorf Auditorium on Wednesday, May 25th at 6:00pm. The Spring Dance Concert will showcase dance styles such as Lyrical, Contemporary, AfroBeat, Ballet, and Hip Hop! Hope to see you there.

The Loy Norrix athletic department is hiring student helpers for the 2022-2023 fall season. If you are interested in being an announcer, working in the concession stand or being an assistant please apply. These are paid positions. You can find the QR code posted in the athletic office.

Green School Meeting Thursday from 2:30-3:30 in B14. Hope to see you there!

LNHS Students Speak Up! Join us this Friday after school in the auditorium for The Views Of The Black Student Union, GSA, Green School, Hispanic/Latinx Association, Women’s Empowerment, and Young Democrats. Come listen to students from these groups speak up and speak out. The event is free and we have prizes to give away!

If you are interested in attending Blue Lake Camp for the Arts and you are going for the first time, see Ms. Van Lieu in A-12 before and after school for a $400 scholarship.

Travel Club 2022 for Italy and France will have a group meeting on May 25 at 6pm in room A-12. You will be getting your final information before departure. We are 30 days away from lift off. RSVP Ms. Van Lieu.

Travel Club 2023 for Spain and Portugal is enrolling students and interested adults now. Early enrollment locks in your price on this really fantastic adventure. Scholarships, fundraising and 3 free college credits are waiting for you. See Ms. Holmes A-15 or Mrs. Lewis C-15 for enrollment packets

The Women’s Soccer are Golden after a 1-1 tie against a good Mattawan team last night.

The game put the Knights into the Gold Bracket of the SMAC Tournament for the first time since 2016.

The last regular season home game is tonight vs. Sturgis. JV at 5, V 6:30.

The Knights are trying also to hold on to the #2 seed in the MHSAA Tournament.

The SMAC Tournament begins on Monday.
