Good morning knights! The Women Empowerment Club is having a meeting today in room B-21! at 2:30 PM. If you are interested in joining a club that creates a safe space and teaches intersectionality at our school please join us! Allies are encouraged to join and more than welcome to come! Snacks will be provided!”

The Esports club will be hosting a Mario Kart tournament in the cafeteria today after school. This is open to anyone, and prizes will be given to the winners. Come have some fun with us!”

Your Cyber Knights are at it again and looking for more to join them as they learn to defend themselves and others from cyber attacks. Attacks are on the rise. Cyber criminals try to make a quick buck by holding your files hostage. Nation states try to cripple an enemy’s infrastructure. Meanwhile we all are caught in the middle.
Your Cyber Knights are currently prepping for the CyberPatriot competition, which kicks off this October. Join us after school Tuesdays and Thursdays in M1, lower M-wing, to learn the craft and meet your fellow Cyber Knights.

Seniors, it’s college visit time! Stop by the counseling office before school, during lunch, or after school to sign up. Upcoming visits include: EMU, MSU, UofM, Hope, and WMU. Email your counselor if you have questions.

Attention Baseball players!! Loy Norrix Baseball will begin our off-season strength and conditioning program next week Tuesday Sept 20th and will continue to be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30. Anyone interested in playing baseball this year should come out. Questions can be directed to Coach Rickli in the C-Wing. Go Knights!

Calling all actors! Loy Norrix Performing Arts proudly presents the hit musical “Legally Blonde” and we need you! We are looking for students of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and personalities to be a part of this fun and flashy show.

Auditions will be held after school in the choir room J12 on September 27th. If you’d like help learning an audition song and dance combination, there will be a free workshop after school on September 22. Please see Mr. Lafferty in J11 with any questions.

Don’t miss your chance to shine on the Loy Norrix stage!

We need help BEHIND THE SCENES with our musical “Legally Blonde.” It takes a lot of people to put on a show: stage managers, tech crew, spot light operators, and more! If you are interested in helping out backstage, we are having an informational meeting after school on Wednesday the 21st in room J11. This meeting is not a commitment, it is for anyone who is curious or interested in stage crew. See Mr. Lafferty with any questions.

The Women’s Basketball Team will be having Open Gyms from 6-7:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You must go home after school and get a ride back for the Open Gym time.
Anyone who plans to play Women’s Basketball is encouraged to attend.

In June 2023, we are heading to Spain and Portugal with an itinerary we have never had in the 25 year history of student travel.
