Did you know that reading for pleasure has all kinds of spicy benefits? Research has shown that reading whatever you want to read for just 20 minutes a day can boost your brain power and memory, increase creativity and emotional intelligence, and even improve your SAT scores! Be sure to stop by the library this week to grab a book for Thanksgiving break. We have lots of new titles for you to check out!

There will be no scheduled AAC rooms this week due to exams.

Sword and Board will meet Wednesday from 230-330 in room C16. All tabletop gamers and games are invited.

Are you interested in discussing and learning about political issues and getting involved in the community? The Loy Norrix Young Democrats are focused on amplifying youth voices and putting them into action. Come to C-13 after school today, Tuesday if you’d like to be involved. P.S. we also have free snacks

The YES club will be meeting in room D-4 after school on Wednesday until 3:30. If you are interested in doing fun projects around the building, please stop in.

What do hot dogs, sandwiches and ice cream sundaes have in common? They all taste great and will bring extreme wealth to your student newspaper, Knight Life. Just go to Schultz’s Treat Street on Thursday, November 17th. 10% of all sales will be given to support your student reporters and their website. Treat Street is located off Oakland Dr. in the Oakwood Plaza.

The 2022-23 Men’s Swim and Dive season starts on November 21st. Coaches will be hosting an
open swim in the natatorium this Friday, 3:30-4:30. This is an opportunity to meet the coaches and
get information on the upcoming season, as well as get a workout in the pool.

All cross country runners need to return their uniform to Coach Schmidt in K16. Awards will be
tonight, November 15th at KNAC downtown at 7pm.

Attention Students, National Honor Society Applications are due Friday in Mr. Porco’s room.

Attention students interested in applying for the Heyl Scholarship. Just a reminder that the deadline
