Interested in playing softball? Our first softball offseason conditioning challenge begins next Tuesday October 22. Meet in the weight room every Tuesday and Thursday after school for 4 weeks. Bring a friend, get stronger and win prizes! See Coach Johnson in C12 for more information.

If you are a class of 2022, class of 2021 or a Peacejammer going to Kenya or earning your way to the Peacejam Slam Conference on Global Climate Change- your prepaid order form is due today to Mrs. Fires or Mrs. May.  The orders must be called in today

The annual Peacejam Pumpkin Painting Party will be Tuesday, October 22nd right afterschool in the cafeteria.  This is a chance to listen to Halloween music, have refreshments and paint a pumpkin.  When you finish you will decide what local agency you will give it to and then receive an extra credit coupon and a fast food coupon!  

Attention students! There is a great opportunity for students interested in Arts to visit the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts on November 7th. Stop by and see Mr. Baker or Ms. Naz in the CIS office in the B-wing for more information. Permission slips need to be back by October 18th

The Anti bullying club will meet the first Tuesday of the month starting Nov. 5th.

The Loy Norrix Counselors will be hosting a Financial Aid Night today, October 16th during conferences. Representatives will be here to assist you and your parents with the FAFSA. Come join us in the library.

The GSA is having a bake sale by the cafeteria during conferences.

Attention seniors! Senior photos and quotes are due to the Yearbook by December 1st! Email them to [email protected] or bring to room K3. A high quality JPEG photo is needed and quotes must be 100 characters or fewer and school appropriate. See Ms. English in K3 with any questions.

Juniors and Seniors – Purdue University will be here Thursday the 17th @ 9am in the 4 Corners. 

Michigan State University will he here Friday the 18th @ 1pm in the Auditorium.  Sign up through your email or on the sign up binder outside of Miss Nesbitt’s office. 

Attention all Students and Staff – Friday is College Day – Come to school dressed in your favorite college gear! 

This Saturday from 11am – 3pm The Kalamazoo Promise will be hosting It’s College Time! Students will be able to get assistance with FAFSA, college apps, personal statements and more! You can even win gift cards or a laptop! 

There are 35 seats left on the annual Holiday Shopping trip to Michigan City and Chicago.  A signed permission slip and $50 reserves your seat.  Don’t delay as the seats will go fast.
