The First Annual Decision Day

By April Curtis

Tuesday, May 1, is the first annual Decision Day at Loy Norrix High School. Most colleges nationally know May 1 as Decision Day. This is the day you inform your college of choice that you are planning on attending their school in the fall. You must also pay for the deposit fee to hold your spot for the upcoming school year.
Here at Loy Norrix, we want to celebrate this day for all the students who have made a decision and are pursuing post secondary education.

In order to attend Decision Day you must be a senior and on track for graduation. You must also submit your acceptance letter to Ms. George or Mrs. G in the Athletic Office. Your letters must be submitted by Friday, April 27. In addition, you can be in the running for raffle prizes by showing proof to Ms. George that you submitted your FAFSA. You can either print off your confirmation page or see Ms. George to show her online.

The celebration will start in the auditorium at 10:30 P.M. for a brief ceremony. Then the fun will continue outside with food, music, relay races and more.
