Last Friday, the Lady Knights wrestled at Bangor. Jessica White and Heaven Cole dominated, both pinning their way to 1st place. On Saturday, the ladies wrestled hard again at Fennville, with Heaven Cole securing 1st, while Jessica White earned 2nd. Additionally, the boys wrestled at Lake Odessa the same day: on the JV side, Robert Pounds got 1st, while Aidan Unangst came in 2nd. As for the Varsity team, Dennis Allen-Womack, Darik Smith, and Nasir Spurlock all placed 3rd, with Wyatt Buddemeier placing 4th. Their last home meet will be this Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. for Senior Night. The skiing teams will compete this week in a League Race on Wednesday at Timber Ridge beginning at 4:30 p.m. Last week, sophomore Sam Oberlee finished first and freshman Luke Buytendorp finished second to help the team finish second overall. Additionally, the women's team was able to secure a 4th place finish last week, and look to improve their finish for the MHSAA Regional in two weeks. Out of 14 schools, The boys qualified for 2nd place with a total score of 3040. Unfortunately, they were eliminated in the 1st round of finals. Hunter Conolly finished in 1st place, and Devin Harris finished in 7th.
