Last night, the cross country teams competed at Linden Grove in the last jamboree meet of the season. The women's team finished 3rd in both jamborees to take 3rd in the division. Almost the entire team fished better than projected and closed the gap on 2nd place Gull Lake but ultimately missed them by one point. The men's team finished first after getting first in the home jamboree as well. This makes them division champs for the first time in over 15 years. They will race again on Saturday at noon during the Portage Invite held at Portage West Middle School. Today is the Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament. The brackets will be played out during lunches today. The final eight will play for the championship tomorrow during the Pep Assembly. • The Men’s Soccer team is playing in the SMAC Gold Tournament this week and nearly won against Gull Lake Tuesday, the #1 ranked team, 3-2, and that they will play for 3rd place in the best soccer league in the state tonight at Battle Creek Lakeview?
• The JV Football team is still undefeated?
