Nominations for the Homecoming Court will remain open until the end of school today. Our goal is to announce the court at the end of the day today. You can vote by using the link sent to your email. There is also another form in your email for choosing Spirit Week ideas. Homecoming dance tickets will be sold during all 3 lunches as soon as possible. Tickets are $5.
The registration for the Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament for students and staff will remain open through Wednesday. Don’t be shy, sign up, because it will be a lot of fun. Mr. Neal and Ms. McMillion are the most frequent names as of yesterday being called out by students they want to see in this tournament.
AAC will be open today for tutoring in the following rooms: social studies in K13, English and math in B21, science in C17, ESL support in K5W, Spanish in K12, SAT math prep in B13, and study hall in C16.
The Sword and Board club will meet this Thursday, in room C16, from 2:30 to 3:30. All tabletop gamers and games are invited to join.
The Loy Norrix Varsity volleyball team played in the Three Rivers Invitational this past Saturday and came out with 3rd place, falling to Cadillac in the semifinals. This Wednesday you can come support your Knights while they play against Kalamazoo Central. Freshmen and JV start at 5:30 and Varsity will follow. The theme of the game is pink-out. The Loy Norrix Key Club has now begun their annual membership drive. If you are interested in joining Key Club, please pick up the membership profile outside of Ms. Nelson's room, D13. Key Club is an international club in over 35 countries around the world. Its mission is to serve, build character and develop leadership. Auditions for the Loy Norrix Musical "Oklahoma!" are on Tuesday the 26th! We need actors of every age, gender, and ethnicity to sing and dance their way through this hilarious and charming show. The Western Michigan University School of Medicine is now accepting applications for their 2023-2024 Early Introduction to Health Careers Program. This is a mini-medical school for high school students interested in exploring health careers. The program is offered to 10th, 11th and 12th graders. The flyer with the link to the application is posted in the Counseling Office and each teacher also received this in an email. Applications must be received by Sept. 30th.
GSA will be canceled today, but will resume next Tuesday in K1 from 2:30 to 3:30.
Student athletes, we will have a drawing this Tuesday afternoon for those of you that have recorded volunteer hours. You can record your volunteer work using the QR Code outside of the athletic office or with the link that was emailed to you.

Travel Club announces that our 2024 destination will be Scandinavia: Sweden, Denmark and Norway. In our 25th year of international travel, we would like to invite students and interested adults to join us in this great adventure. The itinerary and information can be found at

Participating students are eligible for scholarships and can earn three free college credits.
