The Michigan Merit Exam (MME) is a graduation requirement for all KPS students. All students are required to take it during their junior year. This testing may lead to confusion about the school schedule for all other non-11th grade students. Below is the official schedule during the three days of testing:

March 4- ACT + Writing
March 5- WorkKeys
March 6- Michigan Mathematics, Science & Social Studies
 
March 4
Only 11^th graders and qualifying 12^th graders
Test schedule: 8:00am-12:45pm
Dismissed for the day
9^th, 10^th, 12^th graders will not attend school.
 
March 5
11^th graders and qualifying 12^th graders
Test schedule: 8:00am- 11:25am
Testers will eat lunch and then report to class.
9^th, 10^th, and 12^th graders will report at 12:30pm.
 
March 6
11^th graders and qualifying 12^th graders
Test schedule: 8:15am-11:25am
Testers will eat lunch and then report to class.
9^th, 10^th, and 12^th graders will report at 12:30pm.
