Do you find yourself bored in class constantly? Twiddling your thumbs? Watching the excruciating seconds go by? At your own discretion, download these hot apps for your smartphone to pass time:

1. Evil Apples
An apples-to-apples game for a more mature audience.
Sophomore Jane Labadie described it as, “A very engaging but inappropriate game where people come out of their shells and reveal their true selves.”

2. 2048
An addicting puzzle game where you combine numbered tiles to ultimately get to 2048.
Senior Brian Bartley said, “2048 is a great game to pass time and a great way to challenge your mind. I can think of 49,376 reasons why it’s the best app on the market.”

3. Piano Tile
A musical speed and agility test for your fingers. There are multiple versions of the game such as arcade, classic, relay, etc. This game is a fast paced moving screen that forces you to click the black tiles as quick as you can.
Senior Julia Fiore said, “Even if you never play games on your phone, Piano Tile is a must have. I don’t have more than 5 games on my iPhone and Piano Tile is my favorite.”

4. Timehop
Sync your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with this flashback app to see what you’ve posted on the exact date years ago.
Senior Grace Santamaria said, “It’s useful for your quest on self-knowledge, but mostly it’s pretty embarrassing.”

5. Flappy Smash
Sick of flappy bird? Flappy smash is exactly how it sounds; you use the pipes to smash each flappy bird before they travel across the screen.
Freshman Lizzie Ko said, “Flappy Smash is great because I get to kill that darn bird that made me spend hours on my phone.”
