Despite the loss, LN volleyball gives it their all

By Karylle Hillard

The varsity Loy Norrix Lady Knight’s volleyball team played an intense game against the Portage Northern Huskies.  The girls played 3 games with the first game ending in a score of Loy Norrix 16 and Portage Northern 25, the second game ending Loy Norrix 19 Portage Northern 25, and the third game ending Loy Norrix 22 and Portage Northern 25.

The girls played hard to make a comeback and keep the score close.  After the game, captain Christina Brown said, “That is the hardest I have ever seen these girls play.  Great way to end senior year’s game against Portage Northern.”

The student turnout at the game was high and the attitude of the players stayed positive throughout the whole game.  The team will play at the Portage Northern invitational this Saturday, with games starting at 8:00am.
