Effective with the start of the second trimester, Loy Norrix will be starting enhanced enforcement of the ban of hats and hoods. Please adhere to this expectation daily. Books are now available for the Loy Norrix Book Club. Please see Ms. Coash in the library if you would like to join. There will be no AAC this week while we set up this trimester's schedule. The Loy Norrix Musical "Oklahoma!" opens tonight! Don't miss your fellow students as they sing and dance their way through this classic show. Two fiery love triangles set against the backdrop of survival in the old west - what could be more exciting? This weekend's shows are at 7:00 p.m. today Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $8 for students and $12 for adults.  The deadline to turn in applications to the National Honor Society has been extended to this Friday. Applications may be turned in to Mr. Allen or Mr. Porco. The application deadline for the Heyl Scholarship for STEM at Kalamazoo College and medicine at Western Michigan University is today: Friday, Dec. 1. Please email or see Ms. Nelson in room D13 if you have any questions. The deadline to submit senior photos and quotes to the 2024 Accolade Yearbook has been extended to December 31. This is the final deadline. Submit using the Google Form in your email. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions. Congratulations to both of our Super Smash Brothers Ultimate teams, who qualified for the Michigan High School Esports Federation state finals next weekend at University of Michigan-Flint. The library will be closed during lunch today.

Green School is hosting a clothing swap tomorrow, Nov. 30 in the cafeteria from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Please bring any clothing you would like to swap, excluding undergarments and socks, to room B14 in the weeks prior to the event. There will be a $3 entry fee and each person can take as many articles of clothing as they wish. Are you looking for a challenge to stretch yourself physically and mentally? Stop by their tables if you need assistance. Over the weekend, the cross country runners competed for the last time this season. Jackson Lam competed in the MITCA Meet of Champions. He ran for the Michigan Run Foundation, and achieved a new personal record of 15:57. Meanwhile, 19 of his teammates ran in Indiana at the Nike Midwest Cross-Regional. The course was longer than 5k, but the runners still did well. Aiden Unangst ran a personal record of 21:00, Jessica White was the talk of the race in her dinosaur costume and ran a time of 25:04, and all three seniors -- Danny, Cash and Amelia -- finished on a high note with a great race and trip with their teammates.
