The cross country teams have gotten off to an amazing start this year. The boys finished 10th out of 20 teams at the Early Bird meet and 4th out of 9 at the Early Burg meet with 5 medaling. This is several spots higher than last year. The girls' team did even better, finishing 4th out of 18 teams and 3rd out of 10 teams with 6 girls medaling. Our runners are working hard and will be ready for their next meet in Holland. We are looking for more runners, especially freshman girls, to join our strong and positive group. Riley Sackett and Aanje Greymountain advanced to semi-finals in pocket sales. In the mini-mupltiple Catie Frink, Kameron Long, Yacine Lo, and Ellen Terzino finished 4th while Max Achenbach, Liam Braun, Braeden Davis, and Hollis Masterson took first place. Elias Nagel-Bennett not only took first place in the Marvel Movie Quotes Impromptu, but he also received a PERFECT score of 100 from ALL eight of his judges.
