The Yearbook staff hosts signing party

Yearbook
Seniors Mitchell Blinkiewicz and Noah Elder, Yearbook staff members, show off the cover of the 2015 Yearbook.

Thursday, May 21 will be the Loy Norrix Yearbook Signing Party. All students who bought a yearbook will get out of fifth period early to attend the party, which will last from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. After 2:20, all students are invited to join the party so that people can get their yearbooks signed by everyone. The Yearbook staff will be hosting games and giveaways, and playing music.
This year has been a year of change for Yearbook. The new Yearbook adviser, Ms. English, worked hard to put a lot of new things into the yearbook and came up with new ways to get more people to buy the yearbook. The Yearbook staff tried their best to get to get more people covered who may not normally get covered because they aren’t as socially active. They did this by putting a limit on how many times a student can be covered so that the same people won’t be constantly covered in the yearbook. Another big change this year was to add a spring sports and activities supplement, which means spring sports will be covered in this year’s yearbook instead of next year’s. This year, the yearbook will be a financial success, and if more yearbooks can be sold next year, the staff may be able to lower the price for future years.
